Muko River Cherry Blossom Corridor
About 5,000 cherry trees line the 25-km Muko River that flows through Sanda City. This is one part of a project to connect the riverside between the Seto Inland Sea and the Sea of Japan with cherry blossoms, and in the spring, you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing in the magnificent rows of cherry trees. Why don't you take a side trip to one of Sanda City's famous places along the cherry blossom trees?

Sushi and Seasonal Cuisine: Yawaragi (Lunch)
You can enjoy seasonal Japanese cuisine in an elegant setting. The menu includes Nabe hot pot, a la carte dishes, sushi, and other specialties. You can feel the seasons with seasonal dishes such as wild vegetables in spring, stamina dishes in summer, matsutake mushrooms in autumn, and hotpots in winter.

Shin Sanda Farm Inaoka (Strawberry Picking)
This farm, which can be reached on foot from the station, has a long history and tradition in Sanda. The most prized strawberries are "high grown" and have a rich, sweet taste with a strong aroma. The strawberries produced with as little pesticides as possible are superb.
